Championing Hull’s black history

Rich Gbadamosi

Hello,

My name is Richard Gbadamosi, I am one of the lead for the Nigerian community Hull. Nigerians are some of the world’s smartest people. We are hardworking, visionary and responsible. With over 250 million population, we love making positive impacts wherever we are. We speak through our music, art, entertainment, entrepreneurship, sports, research and skills in different professions.

In the city of Hull, we are supporting the city development via the above contributions and many more. Nigerians are in the health and care field strengthening quality health and wellbeing.

We are enriching the cultural status of the city via our fashion, music and tradition without infringing in other people’s right and the law of the land.

Through the practice of our faith, we support spiritual enrichment of the city and her people. In the field of education, we are one of the top three nationalities in the city studying at the university of Hull, and in extension one of the most educated nationalities in the country.

In the field of sports, we are glad to say that we have Nigerians already signed to play for our darling Hull City FC.

Consequently, we are glad to be a part of the city, contributing to her development and making lives better.

As we mark the 65th independence anniversary of Nigeria. We would like the council to support us more as a people who are happy to live here. We would welcome different future collaborations, partnership and support that can enhance our relationship and give us the hope of a better tomorrow as a people living in the city.

Finally, we are grateful for the support given us in the past. We surely welcome more of such for our protection and development as a people.
